How to run gta vice city on windows vista

Hi, try this: in your Steam library, click on Vice City with right mouse button, then on "Properties", then on the last button, the one that says "set start parameters" or something like that, my Steam isn't in English right now. Then, in the text box write "-window" or "-windowed", without the quotes, and click Ok. See if one of those work, I'm installing VC right now so I can't tell you if it works for sure :c.

Nope, I've tried and unfortunately it seems that these commands don't work on Steam version of the game. I know this might not sound like the best idea, but to me it's always better than having to downgrade and by that I mean having to run a cracked. I can tell you it could work, in fact I've been using 3D Ripper before, to make Scarface: The World is Yours run on my Win8 laptop without random crashes or white textures. I'll leave this message here anyway, in case you want to try this for yourself.
