My other car is a spaceship download

The story holds together…mostly. However, to me, the story rather quickly went away from what I hoped it would be all about. Actually it did that twice.

First, the part where Hal is introduced to the fact that spaceships, aliens and bug-eyed monsters are real was over and done with way to quickly and early in the book for me. It felt rushed. This confined the story quite a lot as far as I am concerned and the entire setup removed the wow element involved in discovering a whole new universe way to soon. View 1 comment. Waiting on the directors cut I was really excited about this book until about the first battle when the author ended the chapter and picked back up when it was over.

The things I as a reader wanted to see were left out and instead it became a sci fi pow story. Some of the characters seem one dimensional as well. Jan 02, Pat M rated it it was ok. Most of the characters are just cardboard. They are not very smart and the plot is thin. Even the end was just dumb, let me just say very dumb.
